AROUND THE FISHERY
Furnace Lakes is a private commercial fishery business set in a very rural position on the Surrey / West Sussex border off the A.281 between Guildford and Horsham. The fishery comprises of 64 acres of lakes, grassland and woodland. There are six purpose made Carp and Catfish lakes with individual woodchip pegs along with six stock ponds. This commercial site is home to some of the largest Catfish in the Country, making it the cream of the crop for UK Catfishing. Furnace draws anglers from every corner of the UK and many from oversea’s too. Furnace has excellent facilities on offer to ensure that your visit is memorable. The cafe which is independently run is renowned for its excellent quality and wide selection of food and drinks that are available at the cafe or delivered to your peg. The large onsite tackle shop holds just about everything that is needed including angling consumables and again deliveries are made to the pegs. Furnace offers a serious and peaceful environment, which is child and dog free. Our security system from the road onward ensures your safety and that of your vehicle while parked in the car park. All anglers are required to register here on arrival and we operate a Strict Right of Admission Policy to further ensure your enjoyment. The fish stocks here at Furnace are vast, with a wide variety of top condition hard fighting fish. Furnace Lakes and its fish stocks enjoy an endless supply of clean fresh water pumped from it own reservoir, maintaining lake water levels and happy feeding fish. Furnace Lakes has its own network of hard roads throughout the complex, including the perimeter of the lakes. Delivery of you and your gear is made to and from the lakes by our careful drivers using Kawasaki 4WD agricultural vehicles and trailers. This service is complimentary and compared by anglers as "going on safari" It is of the utmost importance to us that your stay is memorable and enjoyable. In these new Coronavirus times angling has vastly increased in popularity, making Furnace Lakes by far the best place to isolate.
